About Bark Spa

What's included with my Bark Spa?

The Bark Spa itself is the foldable elevated tub, complete with a built-in 3-point safety harness, drain plug, and flexible drainage hose.

Our current offer also includes a microfiber drying towel and grooming brush as bonus extras. Bundle contents can change from time to time, so check the product page for the latest details before you order.

Is Bark Spa a US company?

Yes. Bark Spa is a US-incorporated company, and every order ships from our warehouse in New Jersey. That's why most US customers get their tub in 2 to 4 business days, not 3 to 4 weeks from overseas.

What size dogs is Bark Spa designed for?

Small to medium dogs up to 60 lbs. Our customers bathe everything from Chihuahuas and Yorkies to Frenchies, Cockapoos, Corgis, Shih Tzus and Bulldogs in it. If your pup is much larger than 60 lbs, this one's probably not the right fit. We don't want you to buy something that won't work for your dog.

What are the dimensions?

Set up: 32" long × 21" wide × 39" tall (including legs).

Folded: Around 5" wide. Slips behind a door, into a closet, under a bed, or against a garage wall.

You'll need about 3ft × 2ft of floor space to use it.

How much weight can it hold?

Up to 120 lbs total, including your dog and the water. The frame uses reinforced steel legs and a sturdy base so it stays planted while your pup moves around.

How long does setup take?

Under 5 minutes. The legs unfold, lock into place, and the tub is ready to fill. No tools, no assembly, no hardware to lose. Folding it back down takes about the same time.

Will it fit in my shower or bathtub?

Yes, in most cases. Bark Spa is designed to fit inside standard American walk-in showers and most bathtubs. Measure your space first: you need 3ft × 2ft of floor area and around 39" of vertical clearance.

Using Bark Spa

How does the drainage work?

A built-in drain plug at the base of the tub connects to a flexible hose. Drop the hose into your bathtub, shower, sink, or run it out the back door if you're outside. No lifting, no tipping, no buckets. A slight tilt toward the drain side helps every last drop flow out.

Can I use it indoors and outdoors?

Both. Set it up inside a bathtub or shower in winter, then take it onto the patio, deck, or grass in warmer months. The frame is rust-resistant and the basin wipes clean.

Will my dog actually stay in the tub?

Bark Spa includes a 3-point adjustable safety harness that clips to the frame. It keeps your dog secure and stops them from leaping out mid-bath. Most dogs settle in once they realise they aren't getting away, and many learn to actually walk toward it after a few baths.

How do I clean and store it?

Rinse the basin after each bath, dry it down with the included towel, then fold the legs flat. It packs down to about 5" wide and stores upright behind a door, in a closet, or in the garage. Roughly the footprint of an ironing board.

Will my dog like it?

Most do, after the first wash or two. The elevated height feels less threatening than a slippery human tub, the harness gives them something to lean against, and the basin grip keeps their paws steady. Customers regularly tell us their dog stops hiding when the bath comes out and starts walking toward it instead.

Getting It To You

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

Most orders arrive in 2–4 business days. We ship from our New Jersey warehouse, so:

  • East Coast typically 2 days
  • Central US 2–3 days
  • West Coast 3–4 days

Orders placed before 12pm ET on weekdays usually ship the same day.

Is shipping really free?

Yes. Free shipping on every Bark Spa order across the continental US. No minimums, no codes, no hidden fees at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Right now we only ship within the continental United States. We're working on Canada, AK, and HI. If you'd like us to email you when those open up, drop us a note.

How will I know when my order ships?

You'll get an order confirmation email immediately, then a separate shipping email with your tracking number once your Bark Spa leaves our New Jersey warehouse. Both come from support@mybarkspa.com. Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few hours.

What if my package is lost or arrives damaged?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue and your order number. We'll send a free replacement, no questions asked. Packages occasionally get bumped around in transit and we'd rather make it right than have you pay for it.

Peace Of Mind

Returns & Warranty

What's your return policy?

If your Bark Spa is unused and unopened, you can return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Just email us and we'll send a return label.

Once a tub has been used, we can't accept returns. This is a hygiene policy that protects every customer who orders from us. See the next question for why, and the warranty section below for the protection that does apply once it's been used.

Why no returns after use?

For the same reason you wouldn't want a returned dog tub yourself: hygiene. Once a tub has had a pet in it, we can't ship it on to a future customer in good conscience, so we don't accept it back. Instead, we cover you with a 12-month replacement warranty for anything that goes wrong.

What's covered under the 12-month warranty?

If anything fails under normal use within 12 months of delivery, we replace it. That includes:

  • Frame, hinges, and leg lock issues
  • Harness or strap failure
  • Drain plug or hose defects
  • Tears or seam separation in the basin
  • Manufacturing defects of any kind

Send us a photo or short video of the issue with your order number and we'll get a replacement on its way.

What's not covered?

Damage from chewing, biting, or pulling apart by force, and damage from use outside its intended purpose (e.g. as a planter, climbing frame, etc.). The warranty covers product defects, not chewed-up corners. We're flexible. If you're not sure whether something qualifies, just reach out.

How do I file a warranty claim?

Email support@mybarkspa.com with:

  • Your order number
  • A short description of the issue
  • A photo or video showing the problem

We respond within 1 business day and ship your replacement out fast.

Checkout & Payment

Orders & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Klarna. Choose whichever is easiest for you at checkout.

Is checkout secure?

Yes. Checkout runs through Shopify's PCI-compliant secure payment gateway with SSL encryption end-to-end. We never see or store your card details.

Can I cancel or change my order?

If your order hasn't shipped yet, email us at support@mybarkspa.com with your order number and we'll sort it. Once it's left our warehouse we can't intercept it, but you can still return it under our 30-day unused-and-unopened policy when it arrives.

I have more than one dog. Can I order two?

Of course. Add the quantity at checkout, or contact us if you're buying for a multi-dog household, a rescue, or a small business and we'll see what we can do on pricing.
